Susianna “Killer Queen” Kentikian was born in Yerevan, Armenia on September 11th, in 1987. At 12 years old she started training in boxing and went 24-1 as an amateur before making the move to the pros in 2005. Kentikian dominated the competition going 29-0, winning the WBO, WBA, & IBF flyweight world titles in the process before suffering her first loss as a pro.
In 2012 Kentikian fought twice, losing both times, the first via majority decision, the second via split decision, and lost all 3 of her world titles along the way. The next year she won the interim WBA female flyweight world title, was then elevated to world champion and made five title defenses. In October of 2015, while making the fifth defense of her WBA title, Kentikian recaptured the IBF female flyweight world title and has set her sights on recapturing the WBO title she lost a few years earlier.
