Aung La N Sang Booked To Face Fan Rong At ONE on Prime Video 6

It takes place in January.

The first ONE Championship event of 2023 will feature a middleweight mixed martial arts match between former two-division champion Aung La “The Burmese Python” N Sang and Chinese superstar “King Kong Warrior” Fan Rong.

The match is scheduled for ONE on Prime Video 6: Superbon vs. Allazov, which airs live on Friday, January 13, in prime time in the United States from the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Aung La N Sang, a longstanding fan favorite, enters the fight with 28 professional wins, the most recent of which was a stunning first-round knockout of Japanese MMA star Yushin Okami at ONE 163 in November.

The deadly finisher Fan, who has only lost a handful of times in his career, could give the 37-year-old veteran a handful.

Fan, who sports a 19-3 professional record and an 89 percent finishing rate, trains at the Longyun MMA Gym. He is a genuine challenge for any middleweight on the globe, having both knockout power on the feet and submission ability on the ground.

The Chinese sensation had racked up two victories on the international arena before dropping his most recent fight against former ONE Middleweight World Champion Vitaly Bigdash, and he appeared to be blazing a road to the top of the category.
