Mongolia’s Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu earned 145-pound ONE Championship MMA gold with his strong submission victory over Fabricio de Andrade last December. Now, ‘The Tormentor’ is set for his first title defense against Azerbaijani star Elbek Alyshov.
It was announced on Wednesday that Baatarkhuu vs. Alyshov has been added to ONE Championship’s ‘The Inner Circle 24’ card, scheduled for July 31st. The Inner Circle is ONE’s newest fight series, with events airing weekly on live.onefc.com and fighters competing for favorable contracts with the promotion.
Since debuting with the promotion in 2023, Baatarkhuu has secured seven wins in eight outings and achieved finishes in five wins. Meanwhile, his opponent Alyshov is 2-0 in ONE thus far, securing submissions in both outings, and holds an impressive overall record of 10-0 in professional MMA.
