‘Baby Slice’ To Face Murray at Bellator 241

One of the most promising athletes born in a fighting family is set to make his return to the cage.

Kevin Ferguson Jr. will take on Kaheem Murray at Bellator 241 in Connecticut. The team at MMAJunkie were the first to report the news.

The son of the late Kimbo Slice, “Baby Slice” is looking for his first win since April 2018. Ferguson (3-2, 1NC) beat Devon Brock via submission at Bellator 197, earning a three-fight win streak. Since then he lost to Corey Browning via TKO at Bellator 207 and fought Craig Campbell to a no-contest at Bellator 232 (his first fight in a year). At first a win for Ferguson, the contest was overturned after “Baby Slice’s” strikes were determined to land in the back of the head of Campbell.

Making his Bellator debut will be Murray (3-3), who is on a two-fight losing streak. The 30-year-old is coming off of a submission-loss against LJ Reboli back in June. “The Dream” is 2-2- in his last four fights and has previously fought for World Cagefighting Championships.

Bellator 241 takes place inside the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. The main event will be a Featherweight Grand Prix quarter-final bout between Patricio Freire and Pedro Carvalho. The fight will also be for Freire’s Featherweight Title.
