Beardless Conor McGregor Hints At UFC Weight Change
McGregor has been teasing fans about his return ever since he last fought in July 2021.
Conor McGregor is looking different.
The former double champion is making rounds around social media after flaunting his new weight gain in a photo that was taken after a recent training session at SBG Ireland in Dublin.
“265 in the bank. #superheavy,” McGregor posted last week.

McGregor previously confirmed over social media that he would not be competing as a lightweight again once he makes his anticipated return to the UFC.
The Irish star has not fought since back-to-back losses to former lightweight challenger Dustin Poirier in January and July 2021. In the July bout, at UFC 264, McGregor lost by stoppage in the first round, which resulted in a broken leg.
McGregor has been rehabilitating his leg ever since, but now seems to be nearly – if not completely – recovered.
Despite being on the sidelines for over a year, McGregor’s return remains a topic within the UFC.
President Dana White previously predicted that he would return in either late summer or early fall of this year, but those plans got pushed back even further after the USADA confirmed that he has not been in the testing pool for competition – meaning he will have to complete six months of testing before booking his comeback fight.
But the UFC and USADA could choose to exempt McGregor.
