Bec Rodriguez’s Wedding Gifts Stolen During First Dance
Bec (Rawlings) Rodriguez is fuming after CCTV footage revealed that the security guard she hired for her wedding has stolen her wedding gifts.
The BKFC champion just tied the knot in a private ceremony in Brisbane. She found out about the theft when she couldn’t find a card that one of the guests gave to the couple. Once she asked the wedding organizers to replay the CCTV footage, she saw the guard steal $750 worth of gifts from the wishing well.
“It’s just the audacity of this guy, who we’ve hired to secure our stuff, and he’s actually stolen it,” the UFC veteran said. “It’s quite disgusting, to be honest. It’s not something you should be dealing with a week after your wedding.”
The Brisbane police have launched an investigation into the matter.
Rodriguez rose to fame for her UFC stint that spanned from 2014 to 2018. She was released from the promotion after losing four fights in a row.
She became the part of Bellator in 2019, but then landed a contract with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships where she was crowned the inaugural BKFC featherweight champ for beating Alma Garcia by TKO.
The MMA veteran went on to defend her crown against Britan Hart and Cecillia Flores.
