Bellator 211 Live Results

Bellator will complete its doubleheader day in Italy’s RDS Stadium, following up on Bellator Kickboxing 11, with Bellator 211.

In the main event, Italy’s Alessio Sakara will do battle with Kent Kauppinen. Sakara enters this bout with four wins in the six bouts he’s had since he and the UFC parted ways; he’s gone 3-1 under the Bellator banner.

His most recent bout was a 99-second TKO of Jamie Sloane back in July at Bellator 203, a bounce-back performance since a failed title shot against then-Bellator middleweight champion Rafael Carvalho.

Kauppinen has lost his last two fights, most recently his Bellator debut back in May at Bellator 200 — a second-round submission at the hands of Walter Gahadza.

Hesdy Gerges, a kickboxer formerly of GLORY fame, makes his MMA debut in the co-main event, facing Domingos Barros, a 5-0 fighter who also makes his Bellator debut.
