Bellator 225 Live Results

After their first fight ended in sudden, yet anticlimactic, fashion, Matt Mitrione and Sergei Kharitonov will get the chance to run it back when they headline Bellator 225 at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

The two first competed back in February, headlining Bellator 215, with the fight going to a No Contest in just 15 seconds after an accidental groin kick from Mitrione.

Mitrione is 4-1 (1 NC) since coming to Bellator from the UFC. After knocking out Fedor Emelianenko at Bellator NYC, Mitrione competed in the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix in 2018. Mitrione edged out Roy Nelson in the opening round before getting defeated by eventual winner and current Bellator champ-champ Ryan Bader.

Kharitonov, who has spent time with promotions like PRIDE, M-1, DREAM, Strikeforce and GLORY Kickboxing, is 2-1 (1 NC) in Bellator. After getting knocked by Javy Ayala in 16 seconds in his promotional debut, Kharitonov bounced back with a win over Chase Gormley in March 2017 before knocking out Nelson at Bellator 207 back in October.
