Bellator 270: Patricky Pitbull Knocks Out Peter Queally

Bellator 270 took place in Dublin, Ireland last night. The headlining of the event was a highly anticipated rematch between Irishman Peter Kelly and former champion Patricky Freire. This bout was held for the vacated lightweight title after Patricio Pitbull vacated it.

Patricky Pitbull did a great job in the first round, and in the second round, it took only 1 minute for him to earn a TKO victory against the Irish man. The score between them is 1-1, and we don’t know yet if we will see the trilogy between these two athletes.

Irish fans were really disappointed with the results of the co-main and main event. In the main event, one of the rising stars of Ireland, James Gallagher, suffered a submission guillotine choke in the 3rd round. They exchanged some serious submission attempts in the first round, but they managed to escape. In striking Irish fighter and former Conor McGregor, the teammate was doing a better job and served some serious punches to the rival. However, in the 3rd round, Patrick Mix managed to earn another submission victory.

Pedro Carvalho made the public happy in the arena with the victory he earned. In the first round, he could not show anything and clearly lost the round. However, in the second and third rounds, Daniel was exhausted and could not protect himself properly. Finally, judges scored bout 29-28 for the Portugal fighter who had the Irish flag, too.
