Bellator 277: Patricio Pitbull Gets Revenge, Reclaims Title

AJ McKee and Patricio “Pitbull” Freire shared the octagon for the second time.

But this time, it was Freire who came out on top by unanimous decision.

But not everyone agreed with that result.

In the final round, McKee earned two takedowns and landed more significant strikes. However, on one of the judge’s scorecards, Freire earned four rounds.

McKee suffered his first-ever loss.

McKee and Freire first fought at Bellator 263, where McKee submitted the Brazilian in the first round.

In the co-main event, Vadim Nemkov and Corey Anderson’s battle ended up as no contest after an accidental head clash. Anderson was winning the bout.

Many people think that judges should give this victory to Anderson.

Aaron Pico earned third round knockout against Adli Edwards. Linton Vassell dominated against Tim Johnson and earned victory using his ground and pound.
