Bellator likely to book James Gallagher vs Patchy Mix in November
Ireland last hosted a Bellator event in 2020 and if reports are correct, the country might get to host another blockbuster grudge fight between James Gallagher vs Patchy Mix. According to sources, both 135-pound contenders will lock horns on November 5.
They were first scheduled to feature in Bellator 258, but the fight was put off when Gallagher withdrew over undisclosed reasons. Mix was then hooked up with Albert Morales, whom he submitted in the third round to add another win to his decorated resume.
Both fighters have lost only once in their Bellator careers, but Gallagher boasts a better win-loss record in the promotion. He has won eight fights in Bellator while Mix, being the newcomer, has won three times.
However, Mix has climbed the ladder to success in no time. After he defeated Morales, the 27-year-old American fighter claimed that Gallagher had sent him harassing direct messages on social media.
There’s no doubt that the bad blood has been brewing between both Bellator stars for a long time. They are likely to draw a big crowd when they settle their scores inside the octagon in November.
