Bellator President Scott Coker Plans To Talk With Free Agent Kayla Harrison At Bellator 271

Bellator is interested in having Kayla Harrison on their roster.

That’s what promotion president Scott Coker said ahead of Friday night’s Bellator 271, which Harrison is expected to be in attendance. Coker said he wants to say hello and start a dialogue with her.

“I think that we would love to have, you know, a bigger conversation and see if we can come to some type of arrangement,” Coker said.

“I mean, listen, it’s not just Kayla, but it’s really any free agent that’s out there that’s at that world-class level, you know, that we feel could add value to the company. We want to go sign them.”

Harrison recently became a free agent after wrapping up her contract with PFL. She recently nabbed her second consecutive PFL championship with ease over Taylor Guardado.

The 31-year-old is also a two-time Olympic gold medalist in judo. She has taken MMA by storm since joining in 2018. Ten of her 12 wins have come inside the distance.

Bellator 271 kicks off 7 p.m. ET with the preliminary card and followed by the main card at 10 p.m. ET, which will headline fellow MMA legend Cris Cyborg and Sinead Kavanagh.
