Bellator Prospect Aaron Pico Reportedly Returning To Action on July 24
As Bellator looks to return to action, several big names are looking to be added to the promotion’s upcoming cards. A top prospect is hoping to shine once again after a few months away from the octagon.
Pico (5-3) made his professional debut in 2017, losing to Zach Freeman inside Madison Square Garden. A Junior World medalist and freestyle wrestling champion, Pico would then win four in a row, each via first-round knockout. He won then get a taste of his own medicine, losing two in a row via TKO and KO. The California-born Pico would then rebound in January, beating Daniel Carey via KO at Bellator 238.
Hatley (8-2), made his pro debut in 2017. Recently fighting for LFA, Hatley made his Bellator debut at Bellator 239 in February. Facing Gaston Bolanos, Hatley won via split decision for his second win in a row.
Additionally, ESPN is reporting that Jordan Mein will fight Jason Jackson. The featherweight bout between Pico and Hatley would join a bantamweight bout between Sergio Pettis and Ricky Bandejas. Bellator’s first event will reportedly be inside the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT.
