Bellator Rankings: Sergio Pettis Climbs To Top Spot After Stunning Knockout
The official Bellator MMA rankings were updated following Bellator 272, which took place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, on December 3rd.
After knocking out Kyoji Horiguchi in the main event, Sergio Pettis retained his Bantamweight title. Jeremy Kennedy defeated former Featherweight championship contender Emmanuel Sanchez in the co-main event.
Bellator will not return to action until February 2022, while there has been no formal indication as to when or when the event will be held.
However, considering the company still needs to wrap off its Light Heavyweight Grand Prix, including a conclusion between Corey Anderson and Vadim Nemkov, there are plenty of choices.
In addition, the promotion has announced that it is Bantamweight Grand Prix will begin in 2022.
