Bellator Sets Two Title Fights For Late Summer 2024

Bellator MMA will host two events in September of this year, each to be headlined by championship title matches.

The company announced the news earlier this week by way of social media. The newly announced events will be the 4th and 5th installment of the ‘Bellator Champions Series’ that began at the start of 2024 following their sale to the PFL.

Firstly, Bellator will now head to San Diego, California, on the 7th of September. The main event will pit undefeated lightweight champion Usman Nurgmagomedov (17-0) against Alexander Shabliy (24-3).

Following, just one week later, the organization will move their production to the OVO Webly Arena in London, England. Headlining this event, will be the middleweight king in Johnny Eblen (15-0) taking on England’s own Fabian Edwards (13-3).

Bellator now has 5 upcoming fight cards confirmed for 2024. Starting with this Saturday’s trip to Dublin.
