Bellator Shakeup As Espinoza Put In Charge
The merger of Viacom and CBS has finally become official, relinking the two organizations after CBS was purchased by Viacom founder Sumner Redstone in 1999.
With the merger of the two properties, changes are coming across the board and one of the biggest moves has come to Viacom’s MMA property, Bellator MMA.
The brand helmed by Scott Coker will have a new big boss in Showtime Sports president Stephen Espinoza, who has been the front-facing executive for their boxing programming.
Per a report from Variety, Coker will remain Bellator’s President but will report to Espinoza as part of the new ViacomCBS organization.
