Bellator Signs Kadi Magomedov

Bellator has recently announced that they have signed wrestler Kadi Magomedov for his professional debut.

At the 2020 Summer Olympics, Magomedov won the silver medal in freestyle wrestling at the 74 kg (162.8 pounds) weight class.

He defeated Kyle Dake from the United States and Frank Chamizo from Italy to secure the medal. However, Magomedov was unable to beat Zaurbek Sidakov from Russia in the final match.

The 28-year-old athlete is an expert in freestyle wrestling and holds the title of International Master of Sports. He will receive training at the Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov School.

Magomedov has trained alongside notable fighters such as Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev throughout his career. With that being said, he has a lot to offer.

In his comments, Magomedov said: “Transitioning to MMA has been a goal of mine for many years, and this is the perfect time to start my career.

“I train with many of the top fighters at the Nurmagomedov School and I learn many things from them every day that will help me win a world championship at Bellator, the best fight promotion in the world.”
