Bellator To Feature Two Kickboxers in April 6th Co-Main
Following the announcement of Bellator 196 and the return of Bellator Kickboxing on April 6th in Budapest Hungary, the organization has announced that kickboxers Denise Kielholtz and Lena Ovchynnikova will be in the co-headliner for Bellator 196.
As reported by MMA Junkie, Kielholtz,who has only two fights as an MMA Pro under her belt, will battle Ovchynnikova who has fought professionally in both kickboxing and MMA, in the co-main event, as James Gallagher will face native Hungarian Adam Borics in the main event of the card.
Bellator 196, will take place April 6th from the Budapest Sports Arena in Budapest, and the main card airs on Paramount via same-day delay.
Ovchynnikova looks to mover her Bellator record over .500 and to restart a winning streak after a submission loss to Alejandra Lara at Bellator 190, dropping her to a 2-2 record inside the Bellator cage.
She faces Kielholtz, a kickboxing champ, fighting for the second time under the Bellator banner. In her most recent bout, she earned her first MMA victory after submitting Jessica Middleton at Bellator 188.
