Benavidez And Andrade Are Reportedly In Talks For A Bout This Fall
A fight between David Benavidez and Demetrius Andrade is reportedly being discussed for the fall in either November or December.
Benavidez is the WBC interim champion following his win over Caleb Plant in the super-middleweight division.
The mandatory position put him in line to face Canelo Alvarez. However, the undisputed champion has gone down another route by taking on Jermell Charlo.
Meanwhile, Andrade is a two-division champion whose last fight was a unanimous-decision win over Demond Nicholson.
Per sources, a fight between WBC interim super middleweight titlist David Benavidez vs. Demetrius Andrade is in the works to headline a fall Showtime PPV card. #boxing

If the fight were to go ahead, then it would be a mixture of contrasting styles. Benavidez is known for being a power puncher who breaks down fighters.
In contrast, Andrade’s boxing ability and IQ have made him a tricky opponent for the best of them.
And a win for either would put them in a good position to take on Canelo for all the belts.
