Benoit Saint-Denis Adds 4th Straight Victory With Dominant Performance Over Dan Hooker

On Saturday night, in the co-main event of UFC 325, Benoit Saint-Denis ended his fight with Dan Hooker in overwhelming fashion near the end of the second round.

While Hooker was keeping the fight competitive at first, once things went to the ground in the second he was under extreme threat from submission attempts. Hooker managed to escape from the submission attempts, but ultimately wound up under the full mount of Saint-Denis and was receiving an alarming amount of strikes.

Despite the intelligent defense and continuous efforts to escape from the mount, the referee had to intervene to put an end to the punishment that was being inflicted on Hooker. This is now Saint-Denis’ fourth straight victory and comes on the heels of his 3-0 run through 2025. Meanwhile, Hooker is now on a two-fight skid after tonight, with his previous match in November versus Arman Tsarukyan also resulting in a second-round loss.
