Beterbiev Injures His Knee; Bivol Fight Postponed

Artur Beterbiev has withdrawn from his Undisputed Light Heavyweight Championship bout with Dmitry Bivol on June 1 due to a knee injury.

The Russian sustained the injury in training, leaving the IBF, WBC and WBO champion out of the clash. Beterbiev had come off a stoppage win over Callum Smith in January, as all eyes were set on the undisputed clash. Bivol, meanwhile, secured a unanimous decision win over Lyndon Arthur last December. Top Rank is still hopeful that the fight will take place at the end of the year. Bivol will fight a replacement on the June card. It has been announced that he will face Malik Zinad.

Current Card

Deontay Wilder vs. Zhelei Zhang – heavyweight

Filip Hrgovic vs. Daniel Dubois – heavyweight

Raymond Ford vs. Nick Ball – featherweight

Austin Williams vs. Hamzah Sheeraz – middleweight

Craig Richards vs. Willy Hutchinson – light heavyweight
