Betting Lines Released For Conor’s Rumored Return Fight

Following rumors that Conor McGregor (22-6) will make his return to the Octagon on July 11 against Max Holloway (26-8), the betting lines have been released for the potential rematch.

The 37-year-old McGregor has opened as a sizable +235 underdog, while Holloway is the firm -270 favorite. Within just two hours of the news, public money poured in on Holloway, widening the gap to +270 for McGregor and -330 for Holloway. The odds reflect the different trajectories both men have taken since their first meeting in 2013 which McGregor won by unanimous decision.

It has been nearly five years since McGregor’s TKO loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 (July 2021). Since the leg break, Conor has dealt with numerous failed return dates, most notably a cited toe injury that scrapped a 2024 bout with Michael Chandler.

While Holloway is coming off a unanimous decision defeat to Charles Oliveira last month where he lost his BMF belt, he has remained incredibly active. Max has competed eight times during McGregor’s absence, facing names like Justin Gaethje, Yair Rodriguez, and Ilia Topuria.
