Big 12 Conference Champion Bryce Meredith Joins Bellator
The ex-wrestler from Wyoming, Bryce Meredith, has officially joined Bellator.
Meredith will have the first battle of his multi-fight agreement in Bellator 293 on March 31st, 2023. Meredith, who has an undefeated 3-0 record in the cage, will be facing Brandon Carrillo.
The card will also feature a bout between heavyweights Marcelo Golm and Daniel James as the headliners. Meredith’s last bout was at LFA 141, which he won with an early submission over Nathan Fought.
He has demonstrated considerable striking proficiency in the early stages of his career, resulting in two TKO victories, one of which was against Jay Viola at LFA 128.
Meredith is the second wrestler from Wyoming to join Bellator, taking after his college comrade, Archie Colgan, who is yet to be defeated in his time with the organization. And there is no reason why Meredith cannot follow suit.
Meredith was part of the 2018 Big-12 Conference championship-winning team. He then made the decision to completely switch to Mixed Martial Arts and made his debut in 2021.
Victory in Bellator 293, therefore, could propel his career to another level.
