Bill Haney Claims Tank Turned Down $20M For Haney Fight, Davis Tells Them Call Al Haymon

Gervonta Davis turned down a $20 million guarantee to fight Devin Haney.

That is according to Bill Haney. Devin Haney and Davis have exchanged a war of words on social media as the talk over a fight continues. Haney’s win over Regis Prograis to become a two-weight world champion with the WBC junior welterweight title caught the attention of Davis. Haney stated Davis did not want the fight in his post-fight comments. Tank then accused ‘The Dream’ of cheating after he rehydrated to 165 pounds on the night of the Prograis fight. Davis called out his links with Victor Conte’s SNAC. Conte was jailed in 2005 for ‘conspiracy to distribute steroids and money laundering.’ Now Bill Haney has accused Davis of turning down the fight.

“I’m talking to you, the ex-face of boxing. This is the Devin Haney era. Bro, you turned down $20 million guaranteed. $20 million, bro. Are you serious, bro?” Bill Haney

Eddie Hearn contacted Davis via DM on Instagram to start the conversation over a fight. The promoter sent ‘Let’s talk.’ Davis shut down the message as he posted the DM on social media.

But Tank did make it clear that if they wanted the fight, they simply had to call Al Haymon.

“These n***as is p***y. If they wanna make the fight happen, tell them they know who to call. They’re broke. I’m supposed to get on the phone with Al [Haymon] tonight to talk to him about what these n***** are talking about. You see, Eddie [Hearn] has been in my DMs. No, I want your boss. If they want to make the fight happen, they know who to call, and I’m by the phone. All of them,” Davis stated
