Billam-Smith And Riakporhe Stare Each Other Down At Final Presser

Chris Billam-Smith and Richard Riakporhe held their pre-fight presser in the run up to their WBO Cruiserweight Title fight.

The two boxers have a rematch on Saturday, with Billam-Smith as the champion. He lost the 2019 clash as Riakporhe won in a split decision. The fight could have gone either way. However, Billam-Smith had to contend with his first loss. He bounced back, winning ten on the spin, to acquire the belt from Lawrence Okolie. He made the first defense of his belt with an unconvincing win over Mateusz Masternak.

Riakporhe is a heavy handed fighter, who will fight in front of his home fans. He has 17 wins in his undefeated record. 13 of those are by knockout, with five stoppage wins in a row. His last fight was a victory over Dylan Bregeon. If he wins, Riakporhe will have fulfilled a life long dream of becoming a world champion.
