Bisping vs Evans Targeted for UFC London
Michael Bisping’s wish of a retirement fight at UFC London on March 17 may be fulfilled, as it appears the UFC may have found an opponent.
Ariel Helwani reports that Bisping could once more square off with The Ultimate Fighter season two Rashad Evans. Bisping won the third season of The Ultimate Fighter.
Bisping and Evans faced off way back in 2007 at UFC 78, with Evans squeaking out a split decision win.
A main event fight between Michael Bisping & Rashad Evans is on the table for the London card on March 17. It’s currently being discussed/considered but not finalized yet. A decision will be made soon. Would be a rematch of UFC 78’s headliner, which Evans won via split decision.

Since their first encounter, both have won UFC gold, with Evans once holding the light heavyweight title and Bisping picking up a run with the middleweight title.
But both men are also in slumps in the twilights of their careers. Bisping lost the title to Georges St Pierre last November at UFC 217, then took quite the short-notice fight weeks later at a UFC Fight Night event in China, getting knocked out in the first round by Kelvin Gastelum.
Evans, meanwhile, has lost four straight bouts, most recently competing in August and losing a split decision to Sam Alvey. Evans moved to middleweight last year but lost both bouts he competed in during 2017.
