Unified light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol (24-1, 12 KOs) will defend his WBA, IBF, and WBO titles against mandatory challenger Michael Eifert on May 30, 2026, in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
This marks Bivol’s first appearance since his February 2025 victory over Artur Beterbiev, where he successfully avenged his only career defeat to become the undisputed champion. Bivol subsequently relinquished the WBC belt—now held by David Benavidez—after undergoing back surgery. Eifert has not been the most active. He secured a win over Carlos Jimenez in August 2024 in his last fight, taking him to seven wins on the spin. The fight was linked for the Usyk-Verhoeven card on May 23, but now, Bivol will head to Russia in the hope of getting his first win in 2026.
