Jason Knight scored revenge on his fellow former UFC fighter-turned-bare-knuckle fighter Artem Lobov, finishing him in the fifth round of their main event fight at BKFC 9, which took place at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Knight opted to fight technically right from the get-go and not make things a brawl, and it paid off.
Knight used his reach to connect on several hooks, including one that briefly stunned Lobov, in the first round. Knight also showed improved head movement, avoiding the lot of Lobov’s strikes.
Knight continued to mix things up in the second and eventually scored a knockdown before the end of the round.

While the third round was quiet, it was noticeable that Lobov was continuing to take significant damage to his face.
Lobov emptied his gas tank from the fourth round on, but it wasn’t enough. With one of Lobov’s eyes completely swollen, Knight hit him with a counter right that forced him to his knees and forced Lobov’s corner to step in.
