BKFC Signs Muay Thai Star To Multi-Fight Deal
Buakaw Banchamek is now a bareknuckle boxer.
The new BKFC member already his debut scheduled in Thailand on September 3 against an undetermined opponent.
Banchamek has held more than 250 fights in his career for Muay Thai. He has also won the K-1 championship twice and the global muay Thai title six times.
Since 1999, the 40-year-old Banchamek has competed professionally. His most recent appearance came earlier this month when he defeated Dmitry Varats by decision.
He has a record of 240 victories 24 losses, and 12 draws. He earned 73 knockout victories in his professional Muay Thai boxing career.
