BMF Belt To Headline 500th UFC Event

Celebrating 26 years of the UFC inside Madison Square Garden is not enough for November 2nd’s UFC 244, the event will also be marked as the 500th event in the company’s history.

The November 2nd card on ESPN+ pay-per-view will see welterweights Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz face-off for the Baddest Mother F***er belt, which will be defended once and only once per UFC President Dana White.

Middleweights will be featured in the co-main event as Kelvin Gastelum will take on former welterweight title contender Darren Till.

Gastelum looks to bounce back from a loss to current middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, while Till moves up to Middleweight after getting trounced in London earlier this year by BMF title challenger Masvidal and a losing effort to then welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in 2018.

Popular heavyweight Derrick Lewis will return to Madison Square Garden for the first time since his UFC 230 loss to former heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, facing Bulgarian Blagoy Ivanov.
