Bob Arum Losing Patience With Eddie Hearn, Joshua-Fury In Jeopardy?

Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury may be in jeopardy.

Matchroom Boxing’s Eddie Hearn has insisted that Joshua vs. Fury will be a done deal. It was even reported that there would be a $150 million site fee, which would result in both Joshua and Fury making $75 million each off the fee alone. Queensberry Promotions’ Frank Warren is skeptical of the report.

Both Warren and Fury have grown tired of the waiting time and now you can add Arum to the list. During an interview with BoxingScene.com, Arum said that Hearn is full of hot air.

“Maybe we’ll breathe some life into Wilder, and Fury will fight Wilder and Joshua will fight (WBO mandatory challenger Oleksandr) Usyk.

“Eddie Hearn is busy trying to sell the London Bridge. Let me tell you – last time I talked to Eddie was early last week and he said he was going to have a signed agreement from the Saudis in 24 hours. Well, he’s a little late. Wouldn’t you be pessimistic if you haven’t heard from him or anybody for a week? We’re the promoter with Frank (Warren) of Fury and we haven’t heard from Eddie in a week.”

Hearn has urged Fury and his team to be patient while a deal is being worked on.
