Bobby Green Is Over The Moon For Getting The Overwhelming Response Of Fans

UFC lightweight, Bobby Green (29-12-1) has been fighting since 2008 but is only recently recognized for his efforts in the sport.
His sudden surge in popularity has made him overjoyed as after so many fights he is finally appearing in the UFC main event. On Saturday, the American MMA fighter made his first UFC Fight Night appearance where he ended up losing to Islam Makhachev.

No one in the history of UFC has ever fought 19 fights before reaching their first UFC event fight.

“King” said: “I’ve been here in the trenches for years. I wondered, is it just me? I don’t know.”

He further talked about how he felt despair and hopelessness about his future.
“Maybe it will never happen to me. People will just never see me.”

About two weeks ago, Houston gave him a hero’s welcome at UFC 271, after he defeated Nasrat Haqparast via decision.

After Green agreed to take on the No. 4-ranked Makhachev on short notice, the sports community praised his courage.

He had said: “I don’t know where these fans are coming from. Some people have told me it’s the positivity thing I’ve had going, in all my little interviews and what I say after the fights. I’ve just been me.”

After feeling many low moments in his life the fighter is finally getting the appreciation he deserves.
