Brian McIntyre, otherwise known as Bomac, has spoken out following his 20-month suspended sentence.
According to reports, Bomac was stopped by police in September at Manchester Airport when he was on his way back to the US. This was in the aftermath of his fighter, Chris Eubank Jr, stopping Liam Smith in the tenth round. But what should have been a moment for celebration turned out to be anything but that. Authorities found a firearm in Bomac’s luggage, which resulted in the following charges: ‘possession of a firearm [and] being in possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate.’
But after having pleaded guilty, Bomac was given a 20-month suspended sentence as he avoided five years in prison. And now the trainer has thanked the HMP Birmingham Prison for their attitude towards him.

“Thank you HMP Birmingham Prison for your hospitality for the five weeks. All the guards and inmates was [sic] nice and cool, sorry I couldn’t stay longer. But, due to my outstanding legal team from the USA and London I have to get back to work, woooorrrk tiiiimeeee,” Bomac
So now Bomac’s attention will turn towards his stable. Crawford is in line to face Errol Spence Jr. after the latter exercised his rematch clause. Meanwhile, Eubank Jr. is targeting the biggest fights following his impressive win over Smith. And with both fighters having shown massive improvements, Bomac’s influence on their success cannot be denied.
