Borics to Face Nikolov at Bellator 196

Adam Borics, yet again, has a replacement opponent for Bellator 196 on April 6 at BOK Hall in Budapest. Hungary. He will face Russian featherweight Teodor Nikolov.

As reported by MMA Fighting, Borics will remain in the co-main event slot of the MMA portion of the event, which will also see Bellator Kickboxing 9.

Borics was originally scheduled for the Bellator 196 headline bout, facing Irish top prospect James Gallagher. Gallagher, however, was forced off of the card due to injury. Borics was dropped to the co-main event slot and booked to face Manuel Gaxhja, but Gaxhja would later, too, be forced to withdraw because of injury.

Borics is 6-0 as a professional and was successful in his Bellator debut last April. Nikolov, who has mainly competed at bantamweight, is 11-1, with six straight finishes and only one of those six making it past the first round.
