Tommy Summers, most well-known as Tommy Smalls, has passed away. His imprint on boxing can still be felt as he has worked with boxing greats like Floyd Mayweather Jr., Zab Judah, and Devin Haney.
Mayweather shared the following portrait of Tommy Smalls, with the message, “Rest in Peace my brother I will always love you!”

Smalls was a former member of Floyd Mayweather’s training camp until 2012. The two have a long history of working together and Smalls has long been vocal about Mayweather’s greatness in the ring.
Smalls is also well known for monitoring the progress of then 16-year-old boxing star Devin “The Dream” Haney inside of the Roy Jones Jr. Fight Academy in Las Vegas, NV. Haney of course has progressed to earning the undisputed lightweight championship.

Similarly, Zab Judah, former two-weight world champion, mourned the loss of his friend, Tommy Smalls.

Tommy Smalls’ legacy in the sport of boxing can be felt as he inspired numerous legends and newcomers to the sport.
