Boxpark CEO Defends Julius Francis After A Trending Customer Clash

Julius Francis, who once fought against Mike Tyson two decades ago, wouldn’t have thought that he would be showing his fighting skills against some random customer.

However, in a viral video on social media, it can be seen that he was punching a customer.

The 57-year-old retired from boxing 16 years ago. His defeat against Tyson in 2000 is considered his biggest bout.

After retirement, Francis now teaches boxing and also works as a security guard at Boxpark Wembley, which was where the incident with the customer took place.

“Our team is aware of the incident that took place. We are monitoring the trending video on social media. This incident is under investigation and we cannot comment further on it for now,” Spokesman of Boxpark said.

“We have always believed in the safety and security of our customers. Our staff is always our biggest priority,”

Boxpark founder and CEO Roger Wade has also been considering this incident actively. He wants the staff to make a decision on this incident as soon as possible.

This is the second incident in recent months in which a boxer is seen clashing against a random citizen.

The first one involved Mike Tyson when he punched a fan in an airline.
