On March 2nd, 2023, two ex-world champions, Brandon Figueroa and Mark Magsayo, had an intense face off in their pre-fight presser ahead of their Interim WBC Featherweight championship fight on March 4th, 2023, at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California.
Figueroa and Magsayo will both attempt to secure a fight for the WBC Featherweight World Championship, currently held by Rey Vargas.
Figueroa, who was previously the WBC Super Bantamweight World Champion, has the chance to become a two-division champion, while Magsayo is aiming to reclaim the featherweight title which he lost to Vargas by decision.
In chief support, ex-unified world champion Jarrett Hurd and Armando Reséndiz will square off in a 10-round middleweight co-main event.
Additionally, two young, undefeated middleweights, Amilcar Vidal and Elijah García were also present.
