BREAKING: Bellator 251 Fight Canceled

A fight scheduled for the Bellator 251 card has been scrapped.

Light heavyweights Terrance Jean-Jacques and Gustavo Trujillo were set to clash inside an empty Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut this Thursday night, November 5. That plan has blown up in smoke.

MMAJunkie.com reports that Jean-Jacques vs. Trujillo is off the Bellator 251 card. At this time, there is no word on why the bout has been canceled.

There were also shakeups to two other fights on the card. Austin Vanderford was expected to collide with Chris Curtis but Curtis has been removed after testing positive for COVID-19, first reported by MyMMANews. Vanderford’s new opponent will be Vinicius de Jesus.

Nainoa Dung was expected to share the cage with Piankhi Zimmerman on the prelims. That is no longer the case as Dung has been pulled and is being replaced by Ali Zebian.

Here’s a looked at the updated Bellator 251 card.
