In his kickboxing career, van Roosmalen has amassed a record of 51-18. As mentioned, he captured GLORY gold in two weight classes. He signed with Bellator MMA back in 2019. He was scheduled to fight Cris Lencioni in October but he missed weight and was forced to move up to lightweight. His promotional debut was then halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The last kickboxing bout for van Roosmalen took place back in September 2018. He is 2-0 in MMA with both wins coming by way of knockout or TKO.
