BREAKING: Max Holloway vs. Calvin Kattar Official
Max Holloway will be back in action at the start of 2021.
Holloway has been in the news recently. “Blessed” announced his engagement to professional surfer Alessa Quizon. Now, the former UFC Featherweight Champion has his next opponent lined up. He will be sharing the Octagon with Calvin Kattar.
Here is the UFC’s fight announcement.

Holloway and Kattar will throw leather on January 16. The 145-pound tilt will serve as the main event of a Fight Night card on January 16. This will be Holloway’s first bout since dropping a split decision to Alexander Volkanovski back on July 12.
Kattar finally gets his signature fight and will be looking to make the most of it. He has gone 4-1 in his last five outings. Kattar is coming off a five-round war against Dan Ige back on July 16. The win boosted Kattar to the number six spot on the official UFC Featherweight rankings. A win here could lead to a title opportunity for Katter.
Holloway wants to remind fight fans that he’s still one of the best fighters at 145 pounds. He has two losses to Volkanovski but if he defeats Kattar and Volkanovski drops the gold, “Blessed” will be right back in title contention.
