Brock Lesnar makes his return to the UFC – July 9, 2015 (This Day In History)

On This Day In History, July 9, 2015, Brock Lesnar returns to the UFC at UFC 200. Lesnar faced former interim title contender Mark Hunt. Lesnar dominated the first and third rounds, battering Hunt with ground and pound in the third to secure the unanimous decision. He also was paid a UFC record at that time of 2.5 million dollars purse. Later, the fight was declared a no-contest in December 2016 when Lesnar failed drug tests for banned substances.
