Broner Facing Two Assault Cases Prior To Pacquiao
Less than two weeks before he faces Manny Pacquiao on Pay-Per-View, Adrien Broner will have two court dates in two different states on separate charges of sexual misconduct.
Broner’s issues stem from an incident back in February where he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in an Atlanta shopping mall.
In June, Broner would be arrested in Cleveland for allegedly mounting a woman at a nightclub and forcing her to kiss the former world champion. That would lead to multiple felony charges including gross sexual imposition and abduction.
Both cases have been scheduled for January 7th, forcing Broner to send a lawyer to defend him in his Ohio suit, due to the Cincinnati native not needing to attend.
The combined number of charges for Broner’s two incidents amount to five, and if convicted on all counts– Broner can face nine years in Prison.
This is coupled with Broner having a January 23rd court date in Florida, stemming from an arrest for failing to appear in court earlier this month for traffic violations.
In between his court cases, Broner has the chance to become WBA “regular” welterweight champion against Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 19th.
