Broner Sued By Jeweler For $2 Million

Adrien Broner has another opponent to worry about prior to his January 19th fight against Manny Pacquiao, as the boxer is being taken to court.

Initially reported by TMZ, Broner owes Pristine Jewelers NY over $1.152 Million in payment after checks given to the jeweler have yet to clear and the boxer refuses to work on an installment plan.

Broner told the jeweler earlier in 2018 that he would pay off the debt following his April draw with Jessie Vargas, but as only paid $100,000 of a $1.2 million bill.

Pristine is also looking for $1 million in punitive damages.
