Brook Eyes February Return

Former IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook has yet to box in 2019, and it seems that he will finally return to the ring in 2020.

Brook was last seen inside the ring in December 2018, when he overcame a tougher than expected Michael Zerafa by unanimous decision and was rumored for a fight against Amir Khan, but Khan accepted a fight with Terence Crawford instead, and was reported to fight on both Ruiz-Joshua cards but was never inked.

“We are looking for Kell Brook to get out in early February,” promoter Eddie Hearn said.

Brook has only fought twice since losing his welterweight title to Errol Spence in 2017, Brook will need a few fights under his belt to get back into title contention or reinvigorate the value of a fight with Khan.
