Bryce Mitchell Vs. Movsar Evloev Added To UFC Vegas 64 Card
According to reports, Bryce Mitchell will fight fellow featherweight contender Movsar Evloev.
Following an early report from Combate, MMA Junkie reported the news, which gives Mitchell and Evloev the chance to establish who deserves a move up in the rankings in a 145-pound eliminator in Las Vegas on November 5.
A decisive victory for either man might catapult them into the title picture against reigning champion Alexander Volkanovski.
Both men have never lost in mixed martial arts to this point, with Mitchell, widely regarded as the sport’s next big thing, now sporting a 15-0 record after a decisive victory over Edson Barboza back in March.
In contrast, Evloev most recently competed in June, defeating Dan Ige to retain his winning streak by decision and raise his record to 16-0.
They are both 28 years old, have similar fighting styles and will probably have to stand and exchange to get the takedowns they want.
