Cage Warriors 113 Weigh-In Results

The crew at Cage Warriors were insistent that Cage Warriors 113 will be going on as planned this Friday, March 20. Even after finding a new arena and new fighters on the card, we are one step closer for it to be a reality.

The weigh-ins took place prior to the fights, with all 22 fighters making weight. For their own safety, as a result of the coronavirus, three separate weigh-ins were held, with one team member allowed to be around the fighter to reduce people being around one another. Additionally, all athletes were checked for symptoms relating to the coronavirus (COVID-19) by an on-site medic.

Cage Warriors went on to say in a statement that, “All staff and crew members will be checked for Covid-19 symptoms before entering the BEC Arena on fight day. Fighters will also be tested for symptoms a second time before competing.” It is far different from the UFC, who did not test athletes prior to or after the company’s UFC Brasilia event. The Brazilian Athletic Commission did not have that in mind as the virus continues to spread.

Cage Warriors 113 will be headlined by the UFC’s Darren Stewart facing Bartosz Fabinski. The two were scheduled to face one another at UFC London before it got cancelled.
