Caio Borralho secured an impressive unanimous decision victory over Reinier de Ridder in the co-main event of UFC 326, then followed up his victory with a callout of the No. 1 ranked Dricus du Plessis.
Borralho’s victory over De Ridder comes as a bounce-back performance after coming up short on the judges’ scorecards versus Nassourdine Imavov last September. Meanwhile, De Ridder now finds himself on a two-fight losing streak after this match, coming on the heels of suffering his first UFC loss to Brendan Allen in October 2025.
Dricus du Plessis has been out of the octagon since losing his middleweight title to Khamzat Chimaev last August. At this time, it is unclear when the South African former champion will return to action, but when he does, it’s clear Borralho is interested in the matchup.
