Caleb Plant Challenges Jermall Charlo To Fight – ‘I’m Not Hard To Find’

Caleb Plant used his social media to call out Jermall Charlo following her recent altercation

The two boxers have been linked with a fight ever since Plant lashed out at Charlo after the Errol Spence Jr. vs Terence Crawford weigh-in. The following footage shows Plant hitting Charlo as security separates the pair. Plant later disclosed that Charlo had pulled his beard and disrespected him in front of his wife, forcing him to respond.

“You know, grown man touch another grown man in his face, pulling on his beard real hard, and you know, I’ve got the decency to tell you not to do that again and I don’t smash on you right there…I got my wife standing right behind me and I’m in a room full of my peers. I mean, what do you do? You’re making it real hard on a guy,” Plant said

Since then, Charlo has defeated Jose Benavidez Jr. on his return to the ring. He was away from the sport for more than two years with mental health struggles. Plant was present at his comeback fight, which allowed the former IBF champion to size up Charlo. He is ready to take on the challenge based on what he saw.

Charlo is the WBC middleweight champion, which gives Plant a world title shot if he moves down from 168. But since Charlo weighed in over the 163-pound catchweight for his fight with Benavidez, a fight at 168 could happen instead. A win could set up bigger fights against Canelo Alvarez or David Benavidez or a unification at 160.
