Caleb Plant Returns For First Time Since Loss To Canelo

Former IBF super middleweight champion Caleb Plant returns for the first time this Saturday since losing to Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez almost a year ago.

Plant will be featuring in the co-main event against his 168-pound rival and two-time WBC super middleweight champion Anthony Dirrell in a WBC super middleweight title eliminator.

This will be a FOX Sports PBC PPV streamed worldwide on Saturday, October 15 live from Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The event will be headlined by the return of former WBC Heavyweight World Champion and boxing superstar Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder taking on top-rated Robert “The Nordic Nightmare” Helenius in a WBC heavyweight title eliminator.

Plant looked in shape during a media workout in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

There is likely to be added pressure on Plant as he is returning after a hiatus of almost a year.

His opponent on the night, Dirrell is no stranger to these kinds of duels. The veteran middleweight will be looking to spoil the party for ‘Sweethands’ with a win this weekend.
