Calvillo one of two to miss weight for UFC Washington D.C.
Two fighters, one of whom is competing in the co-main event of UFC Washington D.C. on December 7, missed weight for the event.
Cynthia Calvillo, who competes in the co-main event against Marina Rodriguez, significantly missed weight for the strawweight bout by four-and-a-half pounds. Prelim fighter Matt Sayles also missed weight, coming in at 148.5 pounds, two-and-a-half pounds over the limit.
Calvillo will be fined 30 percent of her fight purse, and Sayles will be fined 20 percent of his.
Tim Means missed weight by half a pound but protested that he had weighed at the 171-pound limit backstage. Means ended up re-weighing in successfully.
