Two fighters, one of whom is competing in the co-main event of UFC Washington D.C. on December 7, missed weight for the event.
Cynthia Calvillo, who competes in the co-main event against Marina Rodriguez, significantly missed weight for the strawweight bout by four-and-a-half pounds. It is the second time in three fights Calvillo has missed weight, coming in two pounds over the limit for a strawweight fight in November 2018.
Prelim fighter Matt Sayles also missed weight, coming in at 148.5 pounds, two-and-a-half pounds over the limit.
Calvillo will be fined 30 percent of her fight purse, and Sayles will be fined 20 percent of his.
Tim Means missed weight by half a pound but protested that he had weighed at the 171-pound limit backstage. Means ended up re-weighing in successfully.
Headliners Alistair Overeem and Jairzinho Rozenstruik both easily made the 266-pound heavyweight limit.
